Sure you can put bigger turbos on and make more power or run a smaller motor but a 427 with this setup would be a great street setup. Great low end and top end.

I would never use a comp turbo they are junk, I seen two friends that used comp turbo an personally seen both turbos fail an I mean big time fail, one turbo exploded while boosting up the road, shrapnel took out all his pipe work, filters an coolers all damaged.

I don't work on big power methanol/alky motors. Most were oem applications turbo setups where people ditch gaskets and hope for the best with RTV. I couldn't find it with the 37 degree dies for under 400$. I purchased the eastwood professional brake tubing flaring tool with the 45 & 37 degree die sets. It works badass but doesn't do 1/2 inch.

I send power to the switch, the switch to the relay, I use an output from the Holley (that is set to > X driveshaft speed) to the ground side of the relay. The relay output goes to Holley 2 step input. Works very well.On pump gas with 17's it runs 11.30's @127mph with no intercooler. It starts the run at no boost and crosses the finish line at 15psi. For 700-900 hp spend the money on a good converter. You can get a 9.5 that you can't break for $950. Spend $400-500 for the cheaper converter and your rolling the dice on it lasting at that kind of power. A $400-500 converter is meant for the guys with stout n/a motors, not for higher power forced induction cars.
