Posted April 8, 2010. First thing I would do is drain and clean the tank and petcock. Then check the float adjustment, and plunger. If the float is improperly adjusted it may be letting too much fuel in the bowl hence the fuel in the carb body.

If so there is a section of the sleeve that is cut out from top to bottom. There is a what looks like a metal burr on the wall of the carb. It is for aligning the sleeve so it slides into the carb properly. If this is not aligned right that burr could have the sleeve jammed up. Kingquad 400 FS.
