I don't know why other places make it so easy to find a shuttle or a bus to a concert like this place does. It was easy to reserve a ride their and home, easy to find the place they picked us up. The Pavilion itself has very helpful and friendly staff.Please note the following when attending PNC Music Pavilion: The venue is located near I-85 and I-485 in the University City in Charlotte. To reach the venue from the south take I-77 N to I-85 N, exit 48 (I-485 East), first exit for Highway 29, left at the light at the end of the exit ramp and the first right onto Pavilion Blvd where the venue ...The PNC Music Pavilion is covered by the roof mainly in the middle of the venue. If you are sitting towards the middle there is a good chance your seat will be covered. The pit, box seats, and sections 1-8 are all comfortably covered by the roof. I went to the PNC Music Pavilion last night to see KISS & Def Leppard. This was my first visit to this venue. I do miss the old Charlotte Coliseum that was on Tyvola Road as you didn't have to worry about rain, port-a-potties, etc. We were in section 7 so we were somewhat under the roof and as luck would have it, it rained yesterday off and on.
