97 posts · Joined 2014. #1 · Sep 14, 2014. I have a JD 757 that I bought new. I have always used 10w-30 JD oil and filters on it. Late last year I noticed my oil light would come on when I idled down. Only when the motor was really hot. Engine now has 390 hrs 25 hp Kawi.
