Many other companies besides PSA and BGS don’t have a thorough process at grading and if the card doesn’t look like it’s been in a war zone it’s a 10. But even with that PSA and BGS have been unreliable in the past few years with cards being graded 8.5’s and then the recipient resending and the card coming back a 10.But in the grading game stick to PSA, Beckett and CGC (formerly just did comics but I think overall the best card one now) they have very good staffers. I have had luck with cracking out several BVG to PSA. They all came back with the same grade except one that was .5 grade lower but I was still able to sell it for much more than I paid for it.

Then you should have got PSA grading and not FCG. PSA charges a lot of money and takes a lot of time. I would ask for a refund . First of all FCG has a 10 day turnaround ,$14 per card guarantee. If not it's free. During CoVid PSA was backed up long waits.
