Ninja has a fantastic DOM for trading. The charting packages are both free to try. I've tried amp and ninjatrader trials, but I think amp and Sierra combo is the best. Ninjatrader takes a while to start up and load charts, versus Sierra which takes a few seconds only. Tradovate here, very good for order execution, but I don’t like their charts. And ffs I wish they’d make the cursor crosshairs disappear when the cursor leaves the chart. Free platform. Comparable if not cheaper commissions than AMP. For scalpers i would say tradovate is the way to go if you get the commission free trading package. Other than that the platform is pretty laggy compared to quantower , ninja trader etc, but it is a good starter platform. Tradovate is decent for beginners since it's pretty low barrier to entry. Just know that NinjaTrader costs a good amount for you to use all their services but the charting and scripting features it offers are very nice. Usually with most futures brokers you can pay a monthly/annual fee so that you pay lower or no commissions per trade.
