I put synthetic on my first oil change, made the clutch slip. Went back to straight motor oil, had to change it again after 50 miles to flush out the synthetic. PS. I read 8w is recommended, but I have no experience with heavier or lighter weight fork oil. I know there is 10w and 15W available.
