There are 17 normal characters in Isaac. If you go for the beast route and get a red key/cracked key you can unlock the tainted version of the character you're playing at that moment. And each one has a corresponding tainted version. So 17×2=34 and you already did it with the lost so only 33 characters left

I have spent more than 40 hours on this character, with close to if not more than 100 serious attempts. While some have certainly been lost to mistakes, many have been lost to factors entirely out of my control.

Really depends from run to run. But Ultra Greedier is just hell for Lost. I don't think Ultra Greedier is that hard for a normal character, he's kind of squishy, but it's very hard to not take a couple hits. Tainted Lost, I somehow beat on like my third run with an insane laggy sprinkler, 4.5 volt, Sacred Heart, Tech Zero etc. Run.

greedier was actually one of my favorite modes to play tainted lost, and it's the only win I've ever gotten on the character. There was something relaxing about runs with low damage essentially getting instantly r key'd as you'd lose quickly to the basement rooms.
