Replaced it. 6 months later- alternator died - replaced it (replaced battery too) 2 weeks later - alternator died again - replaced it with DENSO brand. 2 weeks later - alternator dead for a 4th time. Make sure the ignition switch is OFF. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery first, then disconnect the positive cable. Remove the intake manifold cover. Remove the drive belt. Remove the harness clamp, then remove the bracket. Disconnect the alternator connector and BLK wire from the alternator.
