Heck with a set of Street Scene cut out flares you can probably run 40's on stock wheels with a 2.5" lift but that would be a ton of cutting and the rub on the radius arms would be crazy. Maybe. Most 12.50 tires are designed for 8.5" width rims at minimum. 9-10" is recommended. Stock wheels are 8 inches wide. There aren't too many 12.50s that will fit 8" rims based on factory documentation. The Toyo R/T and M/Ts, for example, require an 8.5 minimum. The A/T III will do fine with a spec of 8" minimum.

Oct 3, 2020 · The 37s were 43 lbs heaver per tire than the factory 35s. For that reason I doubt I would go with 37 on my Tremor. I plan to go with the real 35" x 12.50 size on some custom offset wheels, the stock tires and wheels are pizza cutters. In the Jeep Wrangler world they say 37s over 35 are a deal breaker for a daily driver.

The 6.2 is a lot cheaper/easier to maintain. As long as your not towing all the time there is really no need for a diesel in my opinion. My 6.2 is faster 0-60 than my cummins was it just doesn't have the low end torque of the diesel. Not leveled but 35's on 20" wheels vs 34.3" on 18" wheels if it helps.Everything riding good. I haven’t had it on a road trip yet where I keep a constant speed.I had a 3" rough country lift with 37's on 20" factory wheels. The tires did not hit the wheel wells but they did rub the frame pretty bad at full turn. The tires were 37x12.50 nitto trail grappler. You can do all the lift you want but the tires are going to rub the frame with the factory wheels because of the off set.

2017 Ford F250 / F350 Lift Kit Install. We went with a 4" BDS Lift w/ Radius Arms and Fox Shocks. Upgrades to the Fox 2.0 Reseviors with Carli Resevior mount...I have 37's but haven't paid attention to the gas mileage. A lot of people that have full 35's or 37's don't get the hypertech correction, and thereby don't actually know what their MPG is since the numbers are off due to the tire size. I have the hypertech, just haven't paid attention. I'll work on correcting that next week.

Assuming similar air pressures and tire construction either 37” tire SHOULD be a little softer riding.--Regarding cost, most of us aren't building/buying new Ford's, so the cost savings by going with factory Ford 4.30 vs aftermarket 4.30 isn't an option <cry>. BUT, if someone is wanting to spec a new truck, and go 37s, then factory 4.30 e-locker rear for sure!--Awesome!

This truck replaces our 2019 F250 XL Crew Cab 4x4 truck that we purchased in December 2019. It is extremely similar but shorter! It has the 148" wheelbase vs the 160" wheelbase and the total length (bumper to bumper) is under 20ft! This shortens the turning circle from 53ft to 50ft and allows it to easily fit in any parking space.

I saw a video where a guy adds 1/4 inch wheel spacers and almost gets rid of rubbing. Custom Offsets offers a 1” wheel spazse that eliminates all rubbing on stock radius arm with stock wheels and 37’s. However, if the person in video almost clears with 1/4” wheel spacers maybe 1/2 inch clears?

I had 7.3 with basically 35s, going from 3.73 to a 4.30 gearing was fantastic, with 37s your net would be slightly lower than 4.10 gearing on a stock tire. I think 4.56 would be too tall, I’d recommend 4.30, good balance for towing and mpgs.
