So either you use 3" spacers on the inside of the duals or get a dually axle. Then you have to get spacers for the front axle too if you're going to use the same rims all the way around.

You cannot convert a dually to a conventional single rear wheel for a whole host of reasons, the most obvious one is that the rear springs are closer on a dually and the chassis is different to accommodate this.
