Just do legends, you can scoot through them in about 3 minutes and eventually get all of that slot of exotics. I've seen exotics on my first run of a legend and as many as 25 before an exotic drop. Made awarlock a few weeks ago, ran one and went from no exotic arms to every single one of them with 2:30 completion times.
