Not sure if it was SteamOS or Yuzu update that fixed it. I did not test all combinations but there definitely was a time where disabling SMT increased performance in Yuzu by a mile. Like making BotW playable, Links Awakening running at 60 etc.

CEMU is the way to go if you want to play Breath of the Wild on your PC or Steam Deck, don't get me wrong, Yuzu and Ryujinx are great emulators, but CEMU has years of optimization, nowadays you don't even need a good PC to run perfectly and still support online games like Mario Kart.
