With a few mods you have nearly constant grenade uptime. When you use contraverse hold on devour eat the nade (charge and consume ) then kill something with your weapons. You get grenade energy back it actually works really well. I find it to be a massive struggle not to have grenades. Contraverse Hold only worked with Pocket Nova and Top Nova as those were the only 2 trees that allowed charged void grenades to deal damage. Holds always needed charged grenade to work, so really no difference, before it required top or mid tree void, now charged grenade aspect. Feels like they've nerfed more things than they've made better.

Problem is kickstarts take a charge now. Solution is that you can get charges on grenade kills. It is a little bit of extra conscious effort compared to 3x firepower contraverse but its also nice that you can get like 5 or 6 stacks of armor charge.
