Then if you leave it set for a bit, sometimes as much over night, it will start like there was never an issue. I have seen where others have posted similar issues with ... 2012 Dodge Durango 3.6 awd 105k miles intermittent starting issue. Every other day or so it won't start the first attempt and will just turn off then will start the 2nd attempt. This will happen on cold start and warm start. Dec 17, 2014 · Fairly often, I push the start button or remote start and the D turns over but doesn't actually start for several seconds. I've noticed this quite a few times since new and can't seem to find a similar reason. It doesn't really matter if it's hot or cold, the tank is full or a quarter, parked flat or on an incline, etc.

We had a cold snap right after XMas, subzero F for a couple nights, killed the battery in my pickup and caused a no start in the D, under voltage. Replaced the battery in the pickup, all good (bad cell).

From the very beginning the car has a problem with a warm start. When Durango tries to start with a warm engine after about 1.5 - 2 hours of standing, it does not want to start.
