Short blunts are abundant and gives you a very strong start to the game if you pick construction worker. However they lack the damage or the range of axes and long blunts. Spears are a gimmick, but they work well with low strength - fitness characters due to one hit kill. Never bothered with knives after build 41 landed.

Turn off multi hit. It makes combat way too easy.
