I’m fairly certain I have wide set and shallow roots. I referred to some older ABTF posts to see recommendations for wide set and shallow roots, and tried Natori Feathers Full Coverage, as well as Chantelle Magnifique Minimizer. There were several people who swore by Natori Feathers for wide and shallow breasts, but this did not work for me. Since January I’ve been on my ABTF adventure aaaaand... it hasn’t gone well. Gaping does NOT automatically mean the cups are too large and can in fact be caused by the cups being too small. The ABTF calculator is not all-seeing, and it can be off by a cup size or two (rarely more, though it's not impossible--see here for reasons why calculator may overestimate). Even then, you cannot expect every bra in 40I US / 40G UK to be a perfect fit. But the ABTF calc does get you way close than any other calculator!
