Do at least tune them to Praianos brilliant tunes. For pre v1.23 tunes just add sone weight at -50 to get to the desired PP. On older tunes also check the ride height, and adjust accordingly.

I ended up spending a bit of time trying to figure it out, and it seems that you need to go to GT Auto -> Customize Cars -> Custom Parts -> Rear -> Type B. If u don’t hit 800pp, then just add some ballast. Brake early. Slow in, fast out. Fm3 for the first Stint. Pitstop after Lap 8or9, then FM1 for the rest. Edit: I also tried a mix with praianos suspension setup. It was easier to drive, but roundabout half an second to an second slower.
