The problem that resulted is that it will start and run every time, but it will intermittently lose power. This can be seen in the Tach gauge by going from full throttle of approximatley 3500 rpm down below 2000 rpm. Extract a bit of fuel from the tank. Place the fuel in a clean, clear glass. Set the glass in a cool, dark place for approximately 12-24 hours. If you return to the glass and you can see a clear separation of fuel floating at the top, that means there is water in your tank. If there is water in the fuel, bleed it out.Location. Texas. Tractor. Deere 5100E/H260/MX15. Best way I've found is to restrict the air. Use a heavy duty trash bag and cover at least 75% of the filter but not more than 85%. 90% will result in power loss. Don't cheap out on the bag either. 3-4 mil is perfect. Brett.
