The same blue screen happened to me and it ended up being a .sys file from a Blu-ray player software I installed two years ago and didn’t use since then. I just renamed the file in question and the problem was solved. The kmode blue screen is very generic so in your case if will be a completely different file, but the solution may be the same.
It may be the S version but I'm still really happy with it. All that's letft is to get the Middleton's BIOS and a newer and cooler wifi card and we'll be good to go. I'm also considering getting into Linux more.
