Just to clarify, you have the NP231 transfer case, which takes any old ATF+4. Your transmission is the NV3550, for which Redline MTL is most recommended. I would not use that Pennzoil synchromesh. As far as I know, Jeep used power steering fluid until 2002 before it switched to ATF+4, so I would use the former unless you completely flush.
