My '06 F350 with 18" aluminum wheels was 150. My '11 F250 is 165 also with 18" aluminum wheels. Both recommended a single drop of oil on the nut/washer combo. I suspect that 150 lb ft would be just as good as 165 for the 'average' user.

I had a puller and had the steering wheel off in no time, and made the adjustment. Not a big deal, but I cannot find torque specs for the steering wheel nut anywhere. I found for a few vehicles as low as 26 lb/ft, to as high as 60. I was going to go to 60 or 80, but backed it off and left it at 40.
