Anyhow, the biggest takeaway is that there's only 3 tower annointment options that ignore blight mob resistance and out of the 3(flamethrower tower, freezebolt tower, and shock nova tower) shock nova and freezebolt are garbage and with flamethrower towers you can be carefree of the pesky resistance factor. RAll of the blight scarabs are useful, but the higher tier ones guarantee bosses I think. So I'd only use if you felt you had the damage to down them fast enough. Also don't sleep on your ring anoints, the combo of level 3 ice tower with lvl 3 seismic tower perma stuns everything when they're in the range of a tier 3 empowering tower.

I get more opalescent, silver and golden oils from extractors than natural drops in maps, and I got enough from them to not have to bother with blighted maps.
