AK mags are notoriously reliable, and their springs are twice the size of the mag body. The S15’s that didn’t go flat really quickly and stayed reliable were twice the size of the mag body. While the round count to size ratio does matter, the spring is the heart of the magazine. I've had my Shield Arms S15 mags for over 3 months. Switched out the magazine release with theirs. I have run hundreds of rounds with the shields and OEM mags and haven't had a single issue. I don't see why people say they have issues running the OEM's.
