Project zomboid << kinda >> works like minecraft. Everything (almost) is saved in chunks, so you can reset the whole world except the chunks where your base and vehicles are. You can find your server save at C:\Users\UserName\Zomboid\Saves\. To keep things simple I would simply recommend you to: MAKE A BACKUP (always) while the server is off.
