Thanks. my left hand brake switch was shorted to ground causing the same 30 amp fuse to blow, so make sure to check the switch as well as replacing the harness. be patient when disconnecting connectors they can become quite brittle. Put some carb cleaner. Also check the belt and his deflection and clean all this system with compressed air. Clean well the oil cooler rad. The primary clutch and the crank shaft is mounts on - make sure there is NO LUBRICANT AT ALL. If there is lubricant, then that could be the issue. If the primary were to go on to far, the cooling fins on the back of the clutch could hit the metal plate behind it. An 1/8th inch out is pretty far. The needle seat has a small screen and it was plugged only letting a small amout of fuel into the bowl.
