It's possible the game is immediately crashing because it's trying to load a missing texture or something. Try going to properties > local files > verify integrity of files, that almost always works for me. It just has songs in it anyway and steam will make a new one when you reinstall. Could also be steam acting up, so you can try uninstalling steam and reinstalling it. It happened to me a while back. Does you computer meet the credetials? Have you tried deleting it from you computer compleatly, if not do that. You also want to check if the firewall on your computer is not letting geometry dash through, if you have a firewall try turning it off and open gd. If that works the it is your fire wall.
