I ran into this issue when the microphone stopped working but I could still change the channels. Another thing that I noticed was after I pressed a button the lights at the top of the remote would slowly blink red and not the usual blue.

2 years ago. @iamdebbie1978 The one on the left never appears red. It is different shades of blue. The one on the right is the only light that might appear red and that is b/c it's a network issue. Green is excellent signal, yellow is borderline and red is no network connectivity. U can see what the lights mean in the manual on page 11:
I just got DirecTV Stream and installed it on my Roku Ultra that has a voice remote. However, when I am in the DirecTV Stream App, the voice commands do not seem to do anything and gives a message about DirecTV Stream not recognizing the commands. At the very least, could we change to a different channel by saying the channel number?
