Ark survival ascended tether distance fix.

Even if you set the tether distance to 1000+ ect, in the original Ark at least, non dedicated is still somewhat impossible if you want to do any caves as it breaks the tether no matter the distance. If you have say, 20 pods on you, you can hold q, (Lb+up on xbox) and pod your tames without ever needing to open your inventory. If you're running a non-dedicated server you can increase the tether distance to like 60k in server settings. This gives quite a bit of range but might still get in the way for larger maps like Ragnarok. If you go any higher it starts screwing with swim speeds for some reason lol. Reply.

Dino difficulty levels not working. Our difficulty offset is set to 1, override official difficulty to 6, we had 180 max Dino levels. It's a known issue with tethering. That is why - everyone who mentions this issue or how to increase the tether range - we always suggest running a dedicated server by using ASM (Ark Server Manager) - or if someone's a little more savvy - creating a .bat file to do so. ARK: Survival Ascended. The draw distance in the game is disgusting. When you fly in the air, you see huge pieces of the map, along with trees and stones, appear before your eyes a couple of kilometers away from you, and all the settings are epic. Underwater, the rendering range is 10 meters, beyond that it's cloudy and nothing is visible.

You can change the distance in non dedicated settings screen. The slider goes to 3x but you can type a number in the box next to it to override. Be warned though anything more than 5 or 6x will make a decent rig run crap. If u have a good pc just run a dedicated seperatly on it. But how far can i go i need 300 or 500.

When you play non-dedicated, you are playing as both the server and the client.
